Navigation and Guidance

Our AGVs provide reliable and consistent point-to-point transport of everything from small parts to heavy pallets via reliable navigation and guidance in even the most complex environments.

Natural Feature Navigation

The AGV determines its location using LIDAR to identify structures in the environment and match their locations to a virtual map of the facility.

Laser Navigation

A field of reflective targets are seen by on-vehicle sensors and used by the vehicle’s computer to determine the locations.

Inertial Navigation

Odometry data and in-floor waypoints are used by the vehicle’s computer to determine location and navigational directions.

Navigation Options

Two types of navigation can be combined, such as Inertial & Laser and Natural Feature & Inertial.

Magnetic Tape/Bar Guidance

The AGV follows a magnetic path using sensors with tape or bars for reliable guidance. It enables seamless operation in complex manufacturing environments.
